Mara Major Camp

Example of a 10-day stay for photographers (Professional, expert or beginner).

Day 1:

Arrival in Nairobi, the gateway to the Masai Mara.

At Nairobi International Airport, the shuttle from the hotel selected by us in Nairobi, available upon request by email (approximately $200 for a room for 2 people), will pick you up.

The next morning, this same shuttle will transfer you to “Wilson” airport (between $150 and $300 depending on the season, round trip per person) for a short 40-minute panoramic flight to the Masai Mara.

It is still early in the morning, our guide is already waiting for you at the Ol Kiombo - HKLQ airstrip or at Olare Orok Airstrip OLG.

(We advise you to plan your arrival and departure from the latter, as this will save you from paying the park on the day of your arrival and departure!)

It's barely 10 a.m. and you're already in your first game drive, returning to camp around 1 p.m. for your check-in and discovery of your tent.

Days 2 to 8:

Intimate Masai Mara Exploration - Enchanting morning safaris with sunrise, accompanied by a private Maasai guide (maximum two people per vehicle). - Option for specialized photography experience with a professional photographer. Breakfast in the savannah, followed by a full-day safari or return to camp for lunch. Full-day safaris explore more remote and less traveled areas of the Masai Mara. Return to camp for dinner under the stars or at the camp restaurant.

Day 9: Farewell to the Masai Mara Last morning safari, departure brunch at the camp. Transfer with your guide to the local airport for your return flight.

This exclusive safari offers private car game drives, gourmet meals and an authentic immersion in the nature of the Masai Mara.
